Charlottesville Ale Trail Announcement

Charlottesville craft breweries and the Charlottesville Office of Economic Development have joined together to announce the launch of the Charlottesville Ale Trail on Saturday, September 8th – the premier urban and pedestrian beer trail in Virginia.

Six of the City’s best breweries consider themselves “United By Beer” and want to showcase the high-quality craft beer made in the heart of Charlottesville. Brasserie Saison, Champion Brewery, Hardywood Pilot Brewery & Taproom, Random Row Brewery, South Street Brewery and Three Notch’d Craft Brewery and Kitchen are collaborating with the City and Storyware, a local design firm who created the website with local breweries to support the Charlottesville Ale Trail.

Charlottesville is truly for craft beer lovers and everyone from this community, from the local traveler to the most experienced beer experts are coming here. Whether you want to walk the new Charlottesville Ale Trail or sample flights from a few of the different local breweries, Charlottesville is now the perfect brew destination.

The Charlottesville Ale Trail includes six breweries all a short walk from each other that will be offering joint festivals and promoting events. Craft breweries have become an important tourism attraction and revenue generator in the Commonwealth. The industry has boomed very quickly from just a handful of craft breweries a couple of years ago to more than 200 creating a $1 billion industry in Virginia.
